This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to discover Son Moragues, the quintessential “Possessio” of the Serra de Tramuntana. This 700-year-old oil Estate and once home of the Archduke of Austria Luis Salvador is fast becoming a reference for sustainable organic agriculture and land husbandry in Spain.
Greatly inspired by ancestral knowledge and without dismissing modern understanding, we are now producing award-winning organic olive oil. Son Moragues is a beautiful example of successfully revived traditions based on a sustainable and harmonious human presence in the Tramuntana.
You will discover the human, social, historical and sometimes spiritual aspects of producing olive oil in the Mediterranean, and we will marvel at the way men have sculpted their environment to create long lasting prosperity for themselves, and for their land.
